- Character development
- Flow of writing
- Dialogue
- Level of entertainment
- Writing aspects and skill shown
A 1 star rating will have:
- None to little plot and character development
- Poor flow of writing
- Lack of writing aspects
- Several grammatical and textual (spelling, etc.) errors
- Not entertaining
A 2 star rating will have:
- Very little entertainment
- Include few writing aspects
- Have plot and character development in need of lots of improvement
- Errors in writing that can be fixed easily
A 3 star rating will have:
- Average development of plot and characters
- Majority of writing aspects used
- Easily overlooked errors in writing
- Entertaining at some areas
- Include fluidity of writing in several areas
A 4 star rating will have:
- A good level of entertainment
- Writing aspects used to strengthen the story, used properly
- None to little errors in writing
- Evident plot and character development
- Good flow of writing
A 5 star rating will have:
- Excellent plot and character development
- Very entertaining
- Polished writing, very fluid
- No errors in writing
- Writing aspects used to make the story better
My book review is, in the end, a discussion about the book’s strengths and weaknesses and whether and why I disliked or enjoyed the book.
